Check Your Security Status with Your Remote

If you’re ever wondering if your StayD security system is armed or not, you simply push the info button on the remote control. If the light is red, your system is armed; if it’s green, your system is disarmed. System status can also be determined by an audible tone.

Wireless Communications

Using your phone, you can send a text message (SMS) or use a voice-guided menu from any phone, to remotely control your StayD system (e.g. arm/disarm).

You can also arm or disarm and monitor your security system from anywhere in the world through a web browser.

Conversely, the system can text you or send a pre-recorded voice message to up to five telephone numbers to notify you of system events, such as arming, disarming, alarms and troubles.

It can even send you email notifications. For example, you can be emailed as soon as your kids get home from school.

How do security systems work?

Security systems have sensors at various home entry points that function alongside a command centre or control panel located in your home.
